INVITE. Mountains, open sea and sheltered bays. Although Lofoten has a lot to offer, there are a surprisingly small number of tourists traveling to the famous destination.
Are you up for one of Norway’s most famous destinations? We went over to Lofoten to experience the breathtaking scenery first hand.

You can give it a try and fish your own cod as dinner to have the full Norwegian experience. If you come from the south of Norway, it’s probably the easiest way to take the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes (Lofoten). In case you want to continue to travel to the north of Norway, check out the public busses from Svolvær (they’re really cheap) When you travel to Lofoten (especially in the colder season), it is highly recommended to get a rental car because the busses are only going a few times a day and there are many beautiful spots you can only reach by car. In case you also sleep in the car, don’t forget gas cooker and warm sleeping bags.
